Please ensure that you have had a read through the IQP framework that lists the qualifications and experience you need for each specified system. You can view a copy here.

Application Requirements – what you need to know before you apply

Please take care when completing this application form, and remember the more relevant information the better, with supporting documentation being essential. Ensure that you only apply for the specified systems that you have specific work history, qualifications, and experience in. This will greatly speed up the application process.

  • Qualifications – You will need to supply copies of your qualifications that are required for each specified system as outlined in the IQP Framework.
  • Work History – Your work history needs to be descriptive and complete – remember you are selling your skills and experience to the Panel.
  • Evidence of Experience – Evidence needs to be items such as detailed job sheets that show work you have completed onsite with a specified system. Providing photographic evidence to support your knowledge will clearly demonstrate that you can identify what complies and what does not. • Referees – During the application process you will send 2 referees a link to an online referee assessment. Referees should be someone who has worked with you and have knowledge of your skill and ability for the relevant specified systems being applied for. Referees should provide actual detail on what and how much they have supervised or worked with you.
  • Insurance Certificate – You will need to supply a copy of your current Public Liability Insurance Certificate. Please ensure that this is current and has at least 3mths remaining cover.
  • Uploaded Documents – Please ensure that documents that are uploaded are pdf and less than 5MB each. If you need to supply larger or have a lot of files please email them through to buildwaikato@colabsolutions.govt.nz with ‘IQP Applicaiton and your name’ in the subject field.
